Andrew Maringa is an award-winning entrepreneur, board director, author, and technology executive with over two decades of experience in information technology, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and business leadership. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for combining technical expertise with strategic leadership, helping organisations leverage technology to drive growth, innovation, and operational excellence.
He is the Founder and Director of Tendai ICT (Pty) Ltd, a leading South African ICT company established in 2014 that delivers networking, cybersecurity, managed services, cloud, and digital transformation solutions to both the public and private sectors. Under his leadership, Tendai ICT has grown into a trusted technology partner, recognised for its resilience, innovation, and commitment to developing local skills and creating employment opportunities.
Andrew is also the Founder of the Lead With Purpose Foundation, a non-profit organisation established to inspire ethical leadership, entrepreneurship, youth empowerment, and community development.
The Foundation is built on the belief that purpose-driven leadership has the power to transform individuals, organisations, and communities by creating opportunities that leave a lasting impact.
Beyond entrepreneurship, Andrew serves as Chairman of MRN Investment Group, Non-Executive Director of Wabtec Holdings South Africa, Non-Executive Director of Power Matla Logistics, and Business Development Executive at Wealth Journey Solutions. Committed to lifelong learning, Andrew holds a Master of Information Technology (MIT) from the University of Pretoria, a Master of Business Administration (MBA), a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Practice from Henley Business School Africa, a Bachelor of Commerce in Information and Technology Management, and a Diploma in Information Technology. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science (MSc) in Cybersecurity at the University of London, where his research focuses on cyber resilience, fintech, and secure digital innovation.
